Hello my name is Mrs Wilson and I teach music and P.S.H.E. (personal, social, health education) throughout the school.  Every year group has a two hour slot each week while the teachers are having their planning time.

MUSIC

 Hello and happy new school year to everyone.  This half term in music all the year groups will be learning to sing rounds together.  We will be learning these in two and four parts.  We will also be putting simple accompaniments to them and before half term we will perform them for each other.

P.S.H.E.

Year 3 will be looking at friends and friendships.  What makes a good friend and what do we need to put in place to keep them?

Year 4 will be talking and thinking about their feelings.  We will be using circle times and drama activities to explore the different feelings we have.

Year 5 will be looking at friends and friendships.  Thinking about the different networks of friends we have and how we react differently to these different friends.

Year 6 will be exploring  their feelings.  They will be discussing how it feels to be in their last year at St Begh's and  preparing forthe new changes and challenges which are ahead of them.
